This Service is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. By using Bio Optimizer, you represent that you meet this minimum age requirement and have legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
The Bio Optimizer iOS application is intended for use on compatible iPhone and iPad models distributed through the Apple App Store. You must run iOS 17 or later (or the minimum iPadOS version required for your device on the App Store, if you use an iPad). We do not support or guarantee correct operation on older operating systems; you may be unable to install or update the app below that minimum.
Bio Optimizer is designed exclusively for informational, educational, and wellness optimization purposes. It is NOT a medical device. Summaries, index-style scores, and related insights (which may reflect blood panel information you enter, wearable signals, daily rhythm data, and mind or alignment-oriented content) are not intended for medical diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of disease. Always consult your physician before making any medical decisions.
We respect your sovereignty over your own health data. As detailed in our Privacy Policy, Bio Optimizer operates under a Zero-Server Retention Policy.
https://bio-optimizer.com/api/oura/oauth/token solely to relay OAuth token exchanges with Oura so client credentials are not shipped inside the mobile app; this path is not intended to warehouse Oura tokens or Oura health data on Bio Optimizer servers (see our Privacy Policy).Bio Optimizer may connect to Apple Health (HealthKit) and, if you choose, Oura via the Oura API.
An Oura account is not required for features that read HealthKit data you authorize. Even so, what the app can calculate or display depends on which metrics actually appear in Apple Health—reflecting linked apps, devices, permissions, recording habits, and sync timing (for example, sparse or delayed samples may limit some views). Connecting Oura is optional and may change which signals are available, but no particular completeness or quality of wellness views is promised with or without Oura.
Wellness scores that rely on resting heart rate and heart-rate variability read values your authorized sources have written to Apple Health. On an Apple Health–only setup (without Oura), those metrics are often provided by a compatible wearable (such as an Apple Watch) or another app or device that syncs them into Health; an iPhone alone may not supply them. We do not guarantee that any particular device or combination will produce complete or timely bio-oriented views.
The app does not use HealthKit background delivery to ingest Apple Health data silently while the app is not running. HealthKit-related reads occur in connection with in-app sync and similar features while you are using the app, consistent with your permissions and iOS behavior. Additional detail appears in our Privacy Policy.
Parts of Bio Optimizer are available without a paid subscription (“Free access”). Other capabilities require an active Premium subscription or equivalent entitlements obtained through the applicable mobile storefront. For many users that storefront is Apple’s App Store (including in the United States); if you obtain the app elsewhere, the corresponding payment rules for that channel apply where relevant.
Categories only (not exhaustive). Free access may include baseline summaries and views that help you follow your wellness signals. Premium may unlock deeper interpretations, extended history or export-oriented workflows, personalized focus or affirmation-style modes beyond any baseline experience, and similar advanced capabilities. These descriptions are illustrative and do not list every screen or limit.
In-app detail controls. Specific feature labels, paywalls, complimentary usage limits (including limits that may reset on a calendar-day basis), and what is included in Free access versus Premium are shown inside the application. If anything in these Terms is unclear compared to what the product displays, the in-product presentation governs your day-to-day use.
We may adjust Free access, Premium groupings, or entitlements over time as described in Section 9.
Oura® and Oura® Ring are trademarks of Oura Health Oy. Apple Health, HealthKit, App Store, and iCloud are trademarks of Apple Inc. All other product names, logos, and brands are property of their respective owners.
By using Bio Optimizer, you agree to use the application for its intended wellness purposes. You shall not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or compromise the application's local processing architecture or any transient API connections.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time to improve reliability, security, or compliance. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date on this page.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration, except where either party may bring an individual action in small claims court if the matter qualifies.
Arbitration will be conducted by a neutral arbitration provider under its applicable consumer arbitration rules. Unless otherwise required by law, arbitration will occur on an individual basis, and neither party may bring claims as a class, consolidated, or representative action.
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing support@bio-optimizer.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Include the email address you use to contact support (or the email associated with your App Store Apple ID, if different) and a clear statement that you are opting out of arbitration.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bio Optimizer and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages resulting from your access to or use of the app, including decisions made based on wellness insights provided by the Service.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law. Where permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to Bio Optimizer for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
